Barbados entertainment complex celebrates one year anniversary

The Barbados Entertainment Complex (BEC) is A Premier Family and Group activity entertainment center in Warrens, St. Michael, Barbados, is officially celebrating its first anniversary of being in business. The BEC has over 8,000 sq feet of the wall to wall fun for all ages, including a full Delta Strike Laser Tag system.

The BEC opened at a time of economic concern for Barbados; however, they were confident in investing in a tried and tested model in the creative entertainment sector. Creative entertainment is one of the countries’ top economic contributors, with artists such as Rhianna, Kite, and Rupee driving pop culture awareness around the beauty the small island country offers.

Stephen Lashley, Minister of Youth Sport and Culture, explained, “We have had drivers such as tourism and manufacturing at the apex of our economic model, but we have to look to new pathways for economies expansion and development. Our young people are driving that reality through technology, and emerging industries and policymakers need to create an enabling environment…” to the Barbados Advocate, shortly after opening last year.

Delta Strike is a proud partner of The Barbados Entertainment Complex. You can find them online at the following…
