The design balances commercial durability with the science-fiction look players expect, while keeping the equipment lightweight (only 6.1 lbs / under 3 kg) and well balanced in the hands. Headline features: - More than 100 LEDs across the phaser and vest - Wireless charging - 4-inch LCD touchscreen with tempered-glass protection and double-foam impact damping - Selfie camera with built-in flash for personalized avatars - Wide-angle "star" laser - Self-aware diagnostics with critical / non-critical fault prioritization - Magnetic vest buckle - 3200 mAh lithium-ion battery providing 14+ hours of gameplay between charges - Antibacterial inner liner (thermoformed EVA) ### The Genesis phaser The phaser features the highest-resolution LCD display in the laser tag industry. Delta Strike has consciously avoided the over-styled "toy" look in favor of a science-fiction aesthetic that suits older players and adult groups while still appealing to children. Phaser features: - High-fidelity sound with a sizable internal speaker in a dedicated audio cavity - Rubber over-mold to protect player and equipment from impacts - High-impact case - Selfie camera that doubles as the avatar input ### Key features in detail **LCD touchscreen.** A 4-inch LCD display - the largest and highest resolution in the laser tag industry - protected by tempered glass and double foam. **Selfie camera.** Players take a self-portrait before each game which becomes their avatar on the scoreboard. The system ships with 80+ default avatars and the camera includes a built-in flash. **Star laser.** A wide-angle visible "star" laser fires alongside the infrared beam. It looks dramatic and helps players see where shots are landing. **Self-aware diagnostics.** The Genesis monitors itself in real time and reports faults. Faults are classified as critical or non-critical so a player's game is not interrupted unnecessarily. This dramatically reduces downtime and improves player satisfaction. ### VIP phaser The VIP phaser distinguishes the most important player in any group with custom sounds, custom lighting, and unique weapons. It is widely used for birthdays, corporate VIPs, and bachelor / bachelorette events. ### The vest The Genesis vest is a jacket-style design - more comfortable, more intuitive to wear, and more flattering than traditional bib-style vests. Vest features: - Five sensors: two front, two shoulder, one back, plus the phaser sensor - Dual high-fidelity speakers integrated into the vest - Front and back haptic vibrators that let players feel the direction they were tagged from - Magnetic buckle for fast suit-up (excellent for younger players) - Internal cable channels with rubber routing to prevent pinching and damage - Antibacterial inner-layer material to reduce odor build-up ### Wireless charger Delta Strike packs charge wirelessly between games. Benefits include: - No charging cables to break or replace - Better long-term battery longevity - Saves staff approximately 10 minutes per day plugging in vests (around 60 hours per year) ### Operator remote The Genesis ships alongside a fast, dedicated operator remote covering wireless game control, an LCD touchscreen, infrared pack control, marshall functionality, and quick color change. See the Operator Remote section below for details. --- ## Page: Arena Targets (/laser-tag-equipment/arena-targets) Delta Strike's interactive arena components turn a static room into a responsive game environment, bringing video-game style mechanics directly into the physical battlefield. ### Video Base Station A wall-mounted base station with HD graphics and full-color video. Players love the immersive visual feedback. Configurable per game mode to deliver: - Special-ability pickups - Bonus point opportunities - Respawn stations - Ammunition reload - Team item-capture mechanics ### Hex Base Station Brighter, louder, and more interactive than earlier base stations. Each arm of the Hex can be tagged independently, enabling "game within a game" mechanics. Supports special-ability pickups, respawn, time-bomb mechanics, and base capture. ### Energy Gate High-intensity light beams form a virtual illuminated doorway. The gate can be color-coded so it only allows certain teams through. Use it for traps, respawn points, ammunition reload, or as a base-capture objective. ### Smart Target A wall-mounted module that communicates with the game server over Wi-Fi. Smart Targets can award special abilities, grant bonus points, function as respawn stations, or act as base-capture objectives. ### Micro Target Smaller wall-mounted target intended as an interactive prop element. Players score bonus points by tagging Micro Targets, adding map depth and rewarding aggressive exploration. ### Designed for theme parks Delta Strike has installed systems in many theme parks and other high-throughput venues that demand ultra-interactive, deeply themed environments and creative storylines woven through gameplay. All arena components are engineered "theme-park tough" with the reliability needed to support thousands of plays per week. ### Arena targets - frequently asked questions **What are arena targets?** Interactive game elements players can shoot for points, power-ups, or team objectives. They add variety, strategy, and replay value beyond simple player-vs-player combat. **What types are available?** Wall-mounted targets, free-standing objectives, smart props, and programmable mission-based targets, each customizable by game mode. **Can targets be themed?** Yes - they integrate into themed environments such as military, sci-fi, jungle, or futuristic settings. Placement, lighting, sound, and rules are all configurable. **How do they impact ROI?** Arena targets increase repeat play, encourage team and group bookings, and create a more immersive experience, which in turn drives higher customer satisfaction, better online reviews, and stronger long-term revenue per square foot. --- ## Page: Operator Remote (/laser-tag-equipment/remote-control) Delta Strike's operator remote frees staff from the computer station so they can interact with customers and run a smooth, fast-paced game floor. ### Why the remote matters With 30+ excited players in a session, crowd control is essential. A computer-tethered operator slows the floor down and creates delays. The Delta Strike remote keeps staff mobile and responsive. ### Features - **Wireless game control** - control games and equipment from anywhere in the venue. - **LCD touchscreen** - displays live game information and offers a multilevel menu, learnable in minutes. - **Infrared pack control** - sweep across players to change team colors and reset equipment quickly. - **Marshall functionality** - operators can act as in-arena marshals, pausing, starting, and stopping equipment during gameplay. - **Quick color change** - assign teams in seconds; phasers support up to 9 colors directly from the remote. ### Operator training New staff are productive on the remote in less than two minutes. Starting a game takes only three steps: 1. **Sleep all** - ensures only players actually wearing a vest are included in the upcoming game. 2. **Select game** - selects the game mode and automatically assigns team colors. 3. **Start game** - starts the game and automatically activates equipment, special lighting, music, haze machines, and any scripted in-arena events. --- ## Page: Memberships & Redemption (/laser-tag-equipment/memberships-redemption) Delta Strike supports two complementary models for driving repeat revenue: a custom membership system and integrations with industry-standard arcade redemption platforms. ### Membership model (best for repeat-visit venues) Memberships work well for laser tag centers with strong local communities looking for recurring revenue and long-term customer value. Benefits: - Recurring monthly or annual income. - Higher visit frequency through member incentives. - Long-term loyalty and community. - A direct CRM channel for marketing and targeted promotions. - The venue becomes part of the customer's routine. The Delta Strike membership system was an IAAPA Best New Product Concept winner in 2019. The core insight: when non-members see fellow players using extra weapons, upgrades, and exclusive games, they want them too. Members earn access to those upgrades only through playing more games, creating an ongoing competition that drives repeat business. **Membership cards.** Credit-card-sized RFID proximity cards let members log on to a phaser and access the members' kiosk. Login is a single swipe. **Credits and weapon unlocks.** Members earn credits for each game played and points scored by tagging. Credits are spent at the membership kiosk to purchase new weapons and attachments for future games. **Self-advertising.** Non-members want what their friends have. New members buy more games to unlock more weapons. The cycle is continuous and self-sustaining. **Better off-peak utilization.** Memberships are ideal for filling weekday off-peak capacity while keeping weekend prime time available for casual walk-in players. **Competition drives returns.** As members upgrade, they want the next-tier weapon. Friend-vs-friend competition for the highest score drives regular visits. ### Redemption model (best for casual / family venues) Redemption works best in family entertainment centers, arcades, tourist attractions, and high foot-traffic casual venues where guests want instant gratification. Benefits: - Encourages extra spend in the moment. - Strong appeal to children and families. - Creates excitement and competition. - Easy for casual visitors to understand. - Adds perceived value to gameplay. ### Integrations Delta Strike laser tag systems integrate seamlessly with leading redemption platforms including Intercard, Semnox, and Embed. Players earn redemption points based on performance, game type, time played, and custom rules - all fully configurable to suit the venue's business model. ### Membership vs redemption summary | Factor | Membership | Redemption | | --- | --- | --- | | Primary goal | Repeat visits and loyalty | Casual spending and excitement | | Revenue model | Monthly / annual recurring | Per-visit spending uplift | | Customer type | Local regulars | Casual visitors, families, tourists | | Engagement | VIP access, exclusive events, member pricing | Points / tickets earned for prizes | | Best venue | Standalone laser tag, FEC chains | Arcades, tourist spots, holiday parks | | Key benefit | Predictable revenue and CRM marketing | Instant gratification and higher spend | | Data | Direct CRM and targeted promotion | Activity-based insights | The two models are not mutually exclusive - many Delta Strike operators run both, using memberships to lock in regulars and redemption to capture casual walk-in spend. --- ## Page: DeltaWare Software (/laser-tag-equipment/software) DeltaWare is Delta Strike's complete software suite for running, managing, and growing a laser tag business - from in-game control and scoreboards through to portal-based business management and the membership system. The DeltaWare Portal won an IAAPA Best New Product Concept award in 2019. ### Game control A modern, web-based control system with the highest-resolution display in the industry. There is no resource-intensive desktop software to install. From the control screen operators can: - Change game time - Change in-game music - Set up special teams - Change phaser nicknames - Select game modes - Manage many additional in-game functions ### Scoreboard software Five fully editable scoreboard templates are included. Operators can change logos, background images, color theming, fonts, and embedded video to match the venue's brand. ### Game editor DeltaWare ships with a drag-and-drop game editor. Operators can create games from scratch or duplicate and edit existing modes. The editor uses a trigger / event system so operators can program live in-game actions: - Award power-ups - Change phaser configuration mid-game - Refill ammunition - Activate sounds and haze machines - Change teams on the fly - Award bonus points ### 30+ game library Delta Strike systems ship with more than 30 pre-loaded game modes. The library mixes simple, quick-to-learn games for the busiest days with deeper strategy games for special events and members' nights. ### Portal The Portal is a collection of web applications that operators access from anywhere: - **Operational reports** - daily, weekly, and monthly game counts, player data, and revenue analysis to support management, marketing, and staff scheduling decisions. - **Diagnostic reports** - customizable equipment-condition reports with fault recommendations to stay ahead of maintenance. - **Spare parts ordering** - parts ordered directly from the Portal with automatic inventory management and reorder suggestions. - **Knowledge base** - troubleshooting articles, wiring diagrams, and video tutorials. - **Download resources** - briefing videos, game-instruction videos, promotional videos, Photoshop templates, and operational forms. - **LMS** - learning management system for staff training, accessible 24/7 across devices, with structured courses and certificate programs. --- ## Page: Custom Arena Service / Delta Arena (/laser-tag-equipment/arenas) Delta Strike's arena service produces a complete, revenue-generating attraction backed by 25 years of entertainment engineering - not just walls and panels. ### What is included - **Turnkey solution.** Equipment, arena, sound, lighting, and installation come from a single supplier - no coordination headaches and no blame-shifting between vendors. - **Custom design.** Every arena is custom-designed for the operator's specific floor plan. That single visit set off a chain of events that ended with Delta Strike becoming a global brand. A month later, instead of going to the gym, Willems detoured to chat with the laser tag center's owner. The owner mentioned the business was for sale. Three months later, Willems was running it. ### Seeing the potential Willems quickly recognized that the laser tag industry needed innovation. The systems of the day were analog, not digital, and the experience was dated. He saw an opportunity to design a far better system. He recruited Dave Lowe, a skilled engineer fresh from the University of Canterbury, to help build a new system for his own center - with the longer-term aim of reselling it. That collaboration was the beginning of Delta Strike's product development journey. ### Awards and recognition - IAAPA Brass Ring Award (2019) - Best New Product Concept for the Genesis laser tag equipment. - NZ Hi-Tech Awards (2014) - Winner, recognizing Delta Strike's industry innovation and technological progress. Today, Delta Strike systems are used in successful commercial laser tag operations worldwide, with industry firsts including the Video Base Station. --- ## Page: Contact (/contact) Delta Strike's regional sales team handles inquiries by region: - **North America** - Andrew and Nate, sales consultants. - **MENA, LATAM, and EMEA** - Alberto, international sales. - **France and Belgium** - Jean-Pierre, international sales. - **Oceania, Asia, and Europe** - Mitch, international sales and marketing manager. - **China and Hong Kong** - Jason, sales consultant. - **Latin America** - Felipe, international sales.
